What Moldovan carriers actually need
Most Moldovan fleets earn their money abroad. A typical truck leaves Chișinău, loads in one EU country, unloads in another and comes back through two or three more. That shapes the software you need: it has to handle many countries, many documents and a lot of time away from the office.
In practice that means transport orders that reach the driver without phone calls, CMR and delivery notes that come back with the truck, tachograph data and driving-time limits under control, road tolls and vignettes counted country by country, and invoices that go into the Moldovan e-Factura system. On top of that, the team speaks Romanian and Russian every day, so the tool should too.

Modules that cover the whole operation
Four areas work on the same data, from the client's order to the paid invoice. Nothing is typed twice, and each module has its own switch in the settings, so you only see what you use.
- Orders and dispatch: create an order or import it from the client's PDF, assign an available truck and driver, plan a route that respects height, weight and tonnage, and send it to the cab.
- Tachograph and documents: remote tachograph downloads, 4h30 break alerts, expiry reminders for inspection, insurance and vignettes, CMR photographed from the phone, and e-Transport UIT for trips in Romania.
- Invoicing and e-Factura: invoices built from finished trips, sent to the tax system from the same screen, with supplier invoices and bank reconciliation behind them.
- Fuel, tolls and costs: fuel card imports, receipts read from photos, fuel anomalies, tolls estimated per country and the real profit of every trip.
Moldovan e-Factura (SFS) from inside the platform
For companies registered in Moldova, an invoice is built from one or several transport orders and posted to the SFS system directly from TAFI Agent. The accountant then signs it in the efactura.sfs.md portal. The platform checks the status automatically every few minutes, and when the invoice is signed, the PDF with the SFS QR code comes back and is attached to the invoice.
If an order is priced in EUR, it is converted to MDL at the BNM exchange rate for the SFS invoice, so the accountant does not calculate it by hand. Supplier invoices can also be imported from the SFS e-Factura inbox and matched to your costs.

International work: CMR, tachograph, per diem, tolls
Drivers photograph the CMR and delivery notes into the order, and the key fields are read automatically. A trip is considered finished only when there is real delivery evidence, then it goes through trip verification before invoicing.
The days a driver spends in each country come from GPS and feed the per diem calculation for days in the country and abroad. Payroll then combines base salary, per diem, eco-driving bonuses and deductions, exported to Excel for your accountant with individual payslips as PDF.
Road tolls are estimated country by country for the planned route, and vignette validity is tracked per truck with a warning 14 days before expiry. Tachograph files are downloaded remotely; the company card stays online on one office PC through the free Tafi Card Authenticator.
Drivers and mechanics get their own apps
Tafi Driver shows the day's trip with navigation to each stop, scans CMR, and logs fuel, expenses and advances. It keeps working offline and syncs when the signal returns. Drivers without the app can use a Telegram bot. Tafi Mecanic handles defects, inspections and work orders.

GPS and tracking
The TMS reads live positions, trips and stops from GPS, so a stop at the unloading address becomes part of the delivery evidence and the route driven can be compared with the plan. Trackers from several suppliers show on one map, and Wialon accounts connect with an API token.
